Take your locket off before showering, swimming, sleeping or working out, and keep it away from perfume, lotion and cleaning products.
Open and close the locket gently to protect the hinge, and keep it closed when you are not looking at your photo so moisture stays out.
Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth after wearing and store it in its box, with the chain laid flat so it does not tangle.
